How It Works

See the AFA flow from registration and 5-day free trial to choosing a course, selecting a package and receiving full portal access.

Register

The website explains the courses; the learning happens in a separate learning portal. Start by registering there. Use an email address you can access, because the next step is verification and the trial does not begin as an anonymous website preview.

Verify your email

Complete the email-verification step for your portal account. Once verified, your account can move into the five-day trial. The website and learning portal are separate, so arriving in the portal is the expected handover rather than a change of company or course.

Start the 5-day free trial

Your trial gives you five days of limited access. This is the point to inspect how the learning portal is organised, how lessons open, where mock tests sit and how a live course differs from a self-paced one. Do not treat the trial as the full paid course.

Choose up to five courses

You can select up to five courses during the trial. Use that allowance to compare things that are genuinely alternatives: IELTS Academic versus General, PTE Academic versus Core, Champion versus Self Prep, or different French and German levels where you are unsure of your starting point.

Explore the learning portal

Open the lessons, browse study material, explore online classes where relevant and try the mock-test area. Trial access is limited; the brief gives one example where only one mock test may be available. That limit disappears only when the relevant paid package provides full access.

Select a package

Once you know which course you want, choose a paid package. Prices vary by course, format, duration and validity. AFA offers 1, 2, 3 and 6-month packages and some longer programmes, with extra validity on some options. Check the exact package before payment.

Upgrade to paid access

After payment, your account moves from limited trial access to the full access included in the package you purchased. This can include live classes for live courses, lessons, mock tests, e-books, handouts and downloadable study material in the learning portal.

Receive printed material where included

AFA can post course-specific printed books or study material where those are included in the selected package. The exact physical material depends on the course. Check the package description rather than assuming every course ships the same book set.

What the trial includes — and what it limits

The trial is there to answer a practical question: what am I actually buying? For five days, you can select up to five courses and inspect lessons, the online-class area where relevant, mock tests, the training interface and the learning portal.

It is not full access. Some material remains locked; for example, only one mock test may be available in the free version. Full access arrives after you purchase a package.

Not every subject has both formats. Course names in the catalogue are exact; if the portal says IELTS Academic Champion, the website uses that same name.

Desktop note

The learning portal is currently desktop-only. Use a laptop or desktop for the trial, lessons, live-class access and mock tests. The public website can still be viewed on mobile, but the actual learning portal should be opened on desktop.

The exam is the last thing in the way.

Try up to five courses free for five days. Look at the lessons, sit a mock test, and decide after that.
