TOEFL iBT Preparation

TOEFL iBT is an academic English proficiency test used by universities and other organisations. It measures Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking and is delivered on computer.

The format changed from 21 January 2026, so older TOEFL preparation pages can now be misleading. AFA’s course content should follow the current format, and learners should verify the latest official ETS task descriptions before testing.

The current TOEFL iBT remains about two hours and uses adaptive elements. Reading includes Complete the Words, Read in Daily Life and Read an Academic Passage. Listening includes response, conversation, announcement and academic-talk tasks. Writing includes Build a Sentence, Write an Email and Writing for an Academic Discussion. Speaking includes Listen and Repeat and Take an Interview.

ETS now reports section and overall scores on a 1–6 scale, with a transition period for a comparable overall 0–120 score.

AFA’s TOEFL iBT course is live and instructor-led. Preparation focuses on the current 2026 task types, academic language, time management and mock-test review.

The five-day free trial lets you inspect lessons and the learning portal before choosing a paid package. The listed course price is published on the site, while test fees and booking details are deliberately left to ETS because they change.

Because the TOEFL changed recently, preparation should deliberately use the current task set. Practise switching between short language-form tasks and academic comprehension, then review not just whether an answer was correct but which clue or language pattern produced it. Speaking and Writing practice should focus on clear, direct responses under the current time limits rather than templates built for the pre-2026 test.

You've already decided what you want the language or test to do for you. The useful decision now is narrower: the right version, level and study format.

Where a course shows Price on request, the figure is not final yet and we would rather say so than guess. Use the course page and five-day trial, then ask a counsellor before paying.
