TCF Preparation

TCF is a French-language proficiency test offered in several versions for different purposes. France Éducation international administers versions including TCF tout public, TCF Canada and TCF Québec.

AFA’s course is named TCF Champion without a version in the catalogue. The site therefore keeps the description version-neutral and asks learners to confirm the exact TCF they need before paying.

TCF tout public currently has three compulsory multiple-choice components: Listening, Language Structures and Reading. Written and spoken expression can be additional tests depending on the purpose. Other TCF versions have different compulsory combinations.

That is why the exact TCF version matters before you commit to a preparation course.

AFA’s TCF Champion is live and instructor-led. The course can prepare language comprehension, structures, speaking, writing and test pacing, but the website does not claim a specific TCF version without confirmation.

The price for this course is not confirmed yet. Use the five-day free trial to inspect the course, then confirm the version and price before paying.

For TCF preparation, start only after you know which version you will take. Then match practice to its compulsory and optional components. Build general French alongside test technique: listen for detail and intent, read for both gist and precision, and practise producing organised spoken or written responses where those skills are tested. Use current official instructions for the version you register for.

If your requirement came from an institution or official application route, copy the exact test name and version before enquiring. That one detail prevents you from preparing for a similar TCF format that tests a different combination of skills.

You've already decided what you want the language or test to do for you. The useful decision now is narrower: the right version, level and study format.

Where a course shows Price on request, the figure is not final yet and we would rather say so than guess. Use the course page and five-day trial, then ask a counsellor before paying.
