About this course
PTE Academic is a computer-based English proficiency test used by many universities and other organisations. It assesses Speaking, Writing, Reading and Listening, with several integrated tasks contributing to more than one skill.
This course helps you understand the computer-based task types, build control over spoken and written responses, and practise moving between integrated skills without losing time. PTE Academic reports an overall score and communicative-skill scores on a 10–90 scale. Score requirements are set by institutions, not by AFA, so check the official requirement for your application.
This is a live, instructor-led course. You use the learning portal for lessons, study material and mock-test access alongside the live classes. AFA does not publish a fixed batch size, timetable or trainer profile in the verified brief.

How is PTE Academic scored?
PTE Academic reports an overall score from 10 to 90 and separate communicative-skill scores. Different question types contribute in different ways, including integrated-skill tasks. Check Pearson’s current scoring guide for the latest task-level rules.
Is PTE Academic the same as PTE Core?
No. They are different tests with different intended uses and task mixes. If you are unsure which one your institution or application route accepts, check the official requirement first, then choose the matching AFA course.
Is this a live course?
Yes. The catalogue marks this course as Live, which means instructor-led live classes. Learning-portal access supports the course with lessons, study material and mock-test access. AFA has not published a fixed timetable or batch size in the verified brief.
What can I try before paying?
The five-day free trial lets you select up to five courses and explore lessons, the learning portal, online classes where relevant, mock tests and the training interface. Trial access is limited. Use it to check the course before choosing a paid package.
